Now I'm not an artist by profession, that being said, your art reminds me heavily of The Demoscene, which I love, ([link]) I'm reviewing this piece in the absence of other examples of your work so I have no idea if this constitutes a step forward for you. Sorry about that. It clearly is fractal. It is disappointing to see that interesting details such as the largest balls lower feel are fogged out. Slightly less fade around the center iteration seems a safer bet, just opinion of course. The lightsource to the top right is underdeveloped or uncessary, its a splotch of yellow color that doesn't add any interesting attributes to the piece. Exploit it more or remove it. Light sources can add reflection, glow, flare, have halos, make fog look awesome. The topdown perspective is orthodox for fractal geometry, why not mix it up? Lol next time for example you could look at the "bottom" of a fractal, or the fractal could orient around a simple pattern in it's center that gradually becomes more complex, again as I have not seen your other work yet I do not know what you have tried. The color scheme is good. I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking at in the bottom left corner. The actual coloring of the patterns themselves looks like its abstract, bleh it could have the same pattern which would additionally provide mo detail in the foreground. The overall quality of the piece is good except for the light source which is well, meh, random. Keep playing with this image, try different types of fade out if possible and remove/ pimp that annoying light spot. Art is entirely subject, so for me I can't tell you if you used "good" technique or "originality" or "impact". Keep up the fun.
I'm not very good at critiques so... here I go... This is an amazing piece. It looks like something out of an epic sci-fi movie (or video game). The different shades of green and (what looks like) teal is just.... stunning (major understatement; I can't find the word to describe it). The effects that were done to the things (I don't know what to call them) in the distance is just mind-blowing. Up close 9or in full view), the details on the things towards the front are precise and the reflective look is magnificent! Now that I REALLY look at it, it looks like some sort of computer program (or something XD). Overall, this is a mind-blowing piece.
Vison: Your vision was... well... epic. Originality: I've never seen anything like this. So... 5 stars Technique: 5 stars. Do I need to say why? Impact: Blew me away....
